General

This website is purely informational. There is no contact form, no login, no newsletter and no shop. We therefore only process the data that unavoidably arises for technical reasons when the page is loaded — plus the data created when you start a video or follow a link yourself.

The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.

Hosting and server log files

The website is hosted on Firebase Hosting, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When the page is retrieved, access data is automatically recorded in server log files: IP address, date and time of the request, the file requested, the volume of data transferred, the referrer as well as browser type and operating system.

This processing is technically necessary in order to deliver the page and serves operational security and the prevention of attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and trouble-free operation pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Google. A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out; it is safeguarded by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and Google's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

No cookies, no tracking on page load

Simply visiting this page sets no cookies and transfers no data to third parties. Fonts and all images — including the video thumbnails — are delivered from our own server. In particular, no connection to Google Fonts or to YouTube is established.

This is why the site does not need a cookie banner.

YouTube videos

Videos from our YouTube channel are embedded on this page. Initially you only see a thumbnail served from our own server. No connection whatsoever to YouTube is established as long as you do not start a video.

Only when you click a video is the player loaded from youtube-nocookie.com. From that moment on, YouTube receives your IP address and further technical data and may process it; if you are logged into Google, the request can be attributed to your account. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

The legal basis for loading the player is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you give by clicking the video. You can withdraw it at any time by reloading the page and not starting a video. Further information in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Audience measurement

If we use audience measurement, it is exclusively cookie-free and does not build user profiles. No personal data is stored, IP addresses are not retained permanently, and individual visitors are not recognised. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a statistical evaluation of site usage pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Links to social networks

The references to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram and Brezzels are plain links, not embedded plugins. No data is therefore transferred to those networks unless you click the respective link. Only afterwards do the privacy policies of the respective provider apply, over which we have no influence.

Your rights

You have the right at any time to information about the data processed about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21).

You may withdraw consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. To do so, contact the address given above informally.

Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe that the processing of your data infringes data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority — usually the authority of your habitual residence or place of work.

Retention period

Server log files are deleted or anonymised after 30 days at the latest, unless they are exceptionally required for longer to investigate a specific security incident. Beyond that we store no personal data about your visit.

No automated decision-making

Automated decision-making including profiling pursuant to Art. 22 GDPR does not take place.

We will adapt this privacy policy as soon as the site or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies in each case.
